Meet the Professionals

Aisha Lewis Mason, LPC, ACS
CEO and Founder
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Virginia with over 16 years of professional experience in the mental health field. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Education in Counseling. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate significant life transitions, discover inner strength, and find peace. I specialize in supporting clients dealing with challenges related to stress, anxiety, trauma, anger management, depression, motivation, and improving relationship dynamics.
Perspectives Counseling, LLC was founded with a clear and passionate mission: to empower individuals to challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs in order to foster greater clarity, emotional insight, and personal growth. The vision behind the practice emerged from a deep understanding that the way we interpret our experiences shapes how we feel, respond, and ultimately live our lives. I created Perspectives Counseling, LLC as a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their internal narratives and learn to reframe challenges through a healthier, more constructive lens. Clients are encouraged to break free from limiting beliefs and develop the tools needed to navigate life with resilience, balance, and hope. I support my client through a process of gaining insight as they reclaim their sense of agency. Perspectives Counseling, LLC is a space for reflection, growth, and meaningful change which can be very transformative. Every session is an opportunity to see things differently, and in doing so, to live more authentically and purposefully. I treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, while tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every client.

Victoria Allen
Resident in Counseling
Hello, I am Victoria. I am a Resident in Counseling. I am an Alumnus of Longwood University where I received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and an Alumnus of Southern New Hampshire University where I received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience as an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapist working with children, teenagers, and adults with Autism and other Intellectual Disabilities. My clinical experience includes working with depression, anxiety, grief, and self-esteem. My areas of interest are self-worth, and anxiety, but I also enjoy working with individuals to navigate other personal life challenges they may endure.
I enjoy using different modalities of therapy including Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I believe that by empowering individuals and helping them realize they have what it takes to overcome any fears or obstacles is extremely important to the healing process.
Some fun facts: I enjoy crime shows, cooking shows, singing, listening to music, taking naps, spending time with friends and relaxing with my precious Miniature Schnauzer pup named Louie.
